Your Role Within the Company:

You — as the FISH / Cytogenetic Technologist — are important. You'll be responsible for daily processing and analyzing Cytogenetic, FISH and Flow Cytometry samples. You'll help ensure QA policies are carried out and maintained. You'll have opportunities to validate new methods and handle CAP surveys. Additionally, they say the best way to stay sharp is to teach or train others — which is great because you'll have the opportunity to assist in the training of newer Techs.

Background Profile:

– Bachelor of Science or equivalent work experience

– National certification by ASCP as a Cytogenetic Technologist (CG) preferred

– National certification by ASCP as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) accepted

– Tennessee Laboratory Personnel License (or eligibility) required

– 3+ years of experience Cytogenetic, FISH and/or Flow Cytometry preferred
