Lighthouse Lab Services is excited to be working with a growing lab in the Atlanta, GA area! This client is looking for a sesasoned Marketing Manager to add to their team! 

The (Internal) Marketing Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the marketing department. This role will coordinate with Human Resources, the Chief Growth Officer, the Chief Executive Officer, Sales, and Customer Service departments. This position will align with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assisting the Chief Executive Officer and Sales department in planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. The Marketing Specialist will contribute to a broad range of marketing projects to generate sales leads, grow key accounts, and promote awareness of the client's brand within target markets.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Monitor the system to ensure ongoing operation and accuracy in data collection
  • Execute and configure marketing emails, drip campaigns, and sales sequences in the marketing automation platform
  • Manage and improve CRM workflow capabilities
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve search engine optimization, user engagement, and overall website effectiveness
  • Analyze campaign metrics to improve customer response
  • Draft, publish, and manage social media posts and assist in running paid social campaigns to build fellowship and engagement
  • Deploy marketing deliverables, including but not limited to, brochures, advertisements, emails, webinars, direct mail pieces, website content, and social media content to drive lead generation and customer retention
  • Assist in the development and implementation of integrated go-to-market campaigns for product launches
  • Support market research initiatives including customer satisfaction surveys and competitor analyses
  • Research and coordinate industry events, including tradeshows, seminars, and conferences
  • Assist in the development of PowerPoint presentations, tradeshow signage and displays, multimedia, and other materials
  • Train a motivated individual to use key tools of the role
  • Investigate and solve issues where needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

  • MUST have previous experience working for in laboratory, heathcare, pharma, or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Must be willing and able to learn other software programs as needed
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills
  • Strong business planning and organization
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Creative thinker who responds well to pressure
  • Excellent customer service and strong sense of professionalism
  • Ability to meet and exceed goals
  • Demonstrated experience in product positioning, branding, and translation of science into marketing messages
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical information with customers, co-workers, and managers

Reasoning, Math, and Language Abilities:

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, fractions, and percentages to practical situations
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
  • Must have the ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public as well as being able to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers
  • Translate technical information into marketing messages
