Lighthouse Lab Services is representing a growing Independent Reference Lab near King of Prussia, PA who is looking for an LIS/LIMS Clinical Systems Analyst to lead the fray in all things IT. If this sounds like you, then keep on reading!
Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
-Provide 24/7 support for a multi-practice organization
-Perform daily software and hardware maintenance for all Laboratory Information systems, which include Copia and Harvest.
-Develop, implement and execute requested laboratory projects as needed by the lab such as Instrument interfacing and rule development.
-Perform database and hardware maintenance for lab systems.
-Identify opportunities to improve Lab IT services and, in collaboration with the broader IT team, executes on those opportunities.
-Train new associates in the use of Copia and Harvest
-Maintain all required regulatory documentation in an inspection-ready manner.
-Maintain and be responsible for item remediation for interface log errors.
-Prepare monthly metrics and distribute them to the appropriate user(s).
-Test new software in the test area prior to moving live on LIS application software
-Write database query programs as requested and maintains integrity.
-Use in-depth information and analysis to understand business issues related to lab issues which are often highly technical and complex in nature
Basic Preferred Profile:
-Bachelor's in Medical Technology or Health Sciences Required.
-3+ Years of LIS/LIMS Experience Required.
-Previous experience as a Medical Technologist Required.
-ASCP or AMT Certification Required.
-Previous knowledge of Orchard Copia, Harvest and eClinicalWorks highly preferred.
-Willingness to be flexible to handle problems as they pop up Required.
Salary and Benefits:
-$85,000-100,000 (Depending on Experience)
-Relocation Assistance available on a case by case basis.
