Lighthouse Lab Services is representing a well-established reference lab in Dallas that is looking for Phlebotomy Manager to join their team! Interested? Then you should keep reading (not just because I'm an amazing writer, mind you…that is just an added plus)!.
Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

-Continuously monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of services, delivery methods and procedures

-Assesses and monitors the workload of Phlebotomy staff and implements scheduling modifications as needed

-Develops and executes a roadmap for building Phlebotomy operations that are highly efficient, high quality and compliant with various regulatory agency requirements

-Oversees day-to-day operations within span of control resolving problems as necessary and ensuring operations are efficient, compliant, safe and of the highest possible quality

-Optimizes management structures and workflows within span of control to continually improve quality and efficiency

-Establishes annual goals and measures of performance for operational functions, including key financial metrics

-Establishes, plans and manages departmental budgets, including long-term planning and actual performance within targets

-Serves as an escalation point for staff and clients as needed

-Works collaboratively with peers to develop staffing models and succession planning

-Ensures staff is performing at acceptable levels and addresses issues of low performance when required

-Partners with various teams to resolve customer issues and concerns

-Engages, coaches and mentors team members based on talents and professional aspirations

-Ensures established benchmarks, such as turnaround time and performance improvement metrics are consistently met

-Demonstrates the ability to maintain a calm work environment through the use of conflict resolution, encouragement, motivational skills and interpersonal tools

-Other miscellaneous duties as assigned


Basic Preferred Profile:
Bachelor's in Business, Healthcare Management, Biology or related.
-7+ years of Phlebotomy experience required.
-5+ years of Phlebotomy Management experience required.

-Demonstrated ability to plan and manage departmental budgets, including long-term planning
-Must be comfortable with travel.

Salary and Benefits:
-$68,000-98,000 (Depending on experience)
