Field Implementation Analyst – Molecular Specialist

Lighthouse Lab Services is excited to represent a company that is looking for a Field Implementation Analyst – Molecular Specialist to join their growing team. This position can be located anywhere in the country, and candidates will need to be able to travel. 

Position Overview:
Provide full implementation of the company's Laboratory Information System software applications, with a focus on the molecular product. Interface directly with customers to understand their needs and configure the software to meet them. Deliver superior customer service to internal and external clients. Function as the lead of the implementation of the company's molecular product.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Establish installation standards including workflow and documentation.
  • Create and maintain procedure for client workflow analysis and configuration planning.
  • Develop training program and create documentation of processes and procedures needed for system implementation.
  • Review of all documentation as provided in JIRA.
  • Conduct initial contact with clients for confirmation of documentation in JIRA and further evaluation of workflow and training needs.
  • Installation of software provided hardware and software.
  • Plan and conduct on-site client training for system administrators and end-users.
  • Lead small and large group sessions for both casual discussions as well as formal education.
  • Ensure that the software application is configured and implemented to utilize existing capabilities as they relate to client requirements.
  • Remote and or on-site assistance with database build and refinement.
  • Assist the client through the go-live phase with the new system.
  • Ability to handle multiple large implementations simultaneously.
  • Make all client engagements strong reference sites.
  • Proactively identify implementation challenges and work with Project Management to select the most appropriate avenue for resolution.
  • Utilization of a consultative approach to installations to manage clients through the change process by using relationship building skills to develop trust and rapport with clients.
  • Ensure team members clearly understand their respective responsibilities.
  • Document performance of assigned Field Implementation Analysts.
  • Serve as a product lead of the molecular product.
  • Adherence to the project plan and activities for assigned installations.
  • Monitoring of all steps of the implementation process as defined in JIRA.
  • Maintain regular communication with project management to discuss support and feature requests.
  • Documentation of all steps of the implementation process in JIRA so that at any time the status of the implementation is visible and evident.
  • Completion of all project checklists for assigned installations.
  • Perform and document Annual Employee performance assessments.
  • Participate in the training of FIA staff.
  • Evaluate proficiency of FIA staff.
  • Shadow FIAs in order to lend guidance and assist in skill building.
  • Create and/or assist in preparing training material or presentations for FIA training and continuing education.
  • Document training progress, completion, and proficiency assessments.

Candidate Profile:

  • B.S. in Healthcare, Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a molecular laboratory 
  • Previous experience with implementation or support of Healthcare Information Systems
  • Excellent teaching and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively under stress
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Must be able to travel up to 60% 

Salary & Benefits:

  • $60k-$85k (Based on Experience)
